I have been designing since I was 14 years old.
2007 Single-handedly made my first website for an interschool event: Ordinatrix. Built entirely on Macromedia Flash.
2010 Built an election software, for my school’s student body elections, entirely in C++. And, directed Ordinatrix’s inaugural video.
2011 Built the identity & inaugural video for LeadOn, an interschool competition for student body heads across schools in Delhi.
2013 Wrote & directed my first short film: Letter – The Dangers of Parental Pressure. Also, directed my second short film: Restroom
2014 Dropped out of college.
2015 Started my first design studio, Red Baton Design Studio.

2018 Won the ‘Young Art Director of the Year’ from the Advertising Club of Bangalore at BigBang Awards. Won ‘Gold for Corporate Identity/Brand Identity’ for Yulu Bikes & ‘Silver for Employee Communicaton’ for the Titan Leadership Handbook at the same award show.
2019 Won ‘Silver for Best Corporate Identity’ for Yulu at afaqs! Foxglove Awards in Mumbai & ‘Gold for Corporate/Brand Identity’ for LevelNXT at BigBang Awards by the Advertising Club of Bangalore. Also, stepped off from an operational position at Red Baton & started my second design studio: Gopigraphy – A Global Brand Design Studio.
2020 Won ‘Gold for Logo Design’ at Indigo Awards in Amsterdam, ‘Main Category Winner Communication Design’ & ‘Sub Category Winner Brand Identity Design’ at CII Design Excellence Awards for Yulu Bikes. Also, started focussing on building a YouTube channel & appeared as a guest on my first podcast. And made my first tutorial series: Motion Graphics Essential Training (A six-part course in After Effects)
2021 Launched my first digital product: Favicon Checker Tool. A free online tool that helps you see how your logo appears as a favicon & allows you to benchmark your favicon against others in the same industry.
2022 Won ‘Young Art Director of the Year’ for the second time at BigBang Awards organized by the Advertising Club of Bangalore.
